Simply Containers sponsors Centre of Excellence

Supporting youth development in regional South Australia

Simply Containers is proud to announce their status as premier partner of the West Adelaide Football
Club’s U18 Centre of Excellence team in 2009. This sponsorship will allow the WAFC to provide the
U18’s with the necessary equipment, coaching and resources required to give the players the best
grounding possible for their game development.

‘We are very pleased to have Simply Containers on board, with their assistance we are developing an
elite youth development program through our Centre of Excellence that will produce the next
generation of League Footballers at West Adelaide’ Scott Turner, GM – Football Operations said.
In an interesting twist to standard sponsorship agreements, Simply Containers is also employing Allan
Brand as their Business Development Manager SA Country and sponsoring his time back to the football
club to provide them with an experienced Country Zone Coordinator, Talent Supervisor and Assistant
U18 Coach.

‘This is a fantastic win‐win for Simply Containers and the Club. Allan splits his time between the two and
generates business for Simply Containers with our portable building product range while also developing
the players in the country regions’ Richard Sykes, SCF Containers Director said.

Allan will be promoting Simply Containers in the areas of the West Adelaide Football Club zoning from
his base in Berri. The zones include the Mid Murray Football Association, the Mallee Football League,
the Riverland Football League and the Woomera and Districts Football League.

The U18 Centre of Excellence program is an initiative by the SANFL to be able to compete more
effectively against the well‐established U18 competitions in Victoria and Western Australia. The Centre
of Excellence program is centrally controlled by the SANFL in terms of curriculum and development;
however each club can put their own finishing touches to the training and development.
